Pull-off
Opposite of hammer-on — pulling a finger off to sound a lower note.
A pull-off is the opposite of a hammer-on: a finger already on a string 'pulls' it slightly before releasing, causing the lower note already prepared by another finger to sound. This technique allows two notes to be played in sequence without a new right-hand attack, creating fluid legato. The pull-off is often chained with hammer-ons to produce fast melodic phrases typical of rock and blues.
